Monster Hunter: Yuujiyou Ch.8Alix was blisteringly cold, their camp had been raided by a monster and they didn't know what it was. Together, Angel and Alix ran but they were separated. Now Alix was alone and cold, only wearing pyjamas. She wasn't entirely sure if she was still being chased but the tingling on the back of her neck told her to keep running. She could hear rapid foot falls behind her, closing in. She tried and tried to run faster, to out pace it, but her legs could do no more, there was nowhere to hide. She opened her mouth to scream for help, but to her terror, no sounds came forth. Soon, exhausted, she fell to the ground and awaited deaths warm embrace.

Monster Hunter: Yuujiyou Ch.7Alix slept restlessly, she dreamt she was high in the Snowy Mountains in only pyjamas. It was blisteringly cold and she was being chased, or at least she felt she was, though what exactly it was that was pursuing her, she could not be sure of. She ran, but not fast enough, she couldn't get away, she couldn't hide, and when she opened her mouth, much to her terror, no sound came forth. Soon, exhausted, she fell into the frozen powder and awaited deaths warm embrace.

Theo was slightly aggrieved that she hadn't said anything to him. They could've trained together. He just couldn't get enough of her.

Theo wandered slowly down to the training school just in time to see Alix emerge looking pleased with herself. She spotted him and waved a sweaty arm in his direction. He jogged over to her and they embraced.

'Was?' Alix asked confused.

'Hmm. A Rathian burnt it down and killed everyone there. I was gathering raw meat for a communal meal that evening. I never saw my parents again.' He sat down on the sand covered rocks. Alix was unsure of what to do. She sat next to him and they didn't speak for a few minutes. Theo finally stood and wiped his eyes. 'So, lets go kill a crab.'

Her only company for the past few days had been Jasmine, constantly providing comfort and conversation (though cats say very little of particular interest for humans).
